An exodus of players are expected to leave in January for virtually nothing
The start
Bolton midfielder Mark Davies is a target for Championship league leaders Middlesbrough, in a cut price deal, according to Burnden Aces.
The Teessiders will be hoping that the current financial crisis at Bolton will yield a January bargain.
The players are due to be paid on 29 December , and will be by a combination of club funds and a PFA loan.
The HMRC debt (which is only one month in arrears) will also be settled before their winding up petition is due to be heard in court next month , so it will then be withdrawn.
Even after finding a new buyer from the interested parties who are currently at an advanced stage of negotiations , it may still be that some players will be released to reduce the annual losses being made (which were less than CCFC`s even for the year when we were in the Premier)
Once the new owners are in place , the current owner will be writing off all the debt he is owed , so the club will start afresh in a debt free position.
