Cardiff City today recalled ALEX REVELL from Wigan

Cardiff City have recalled striker Alex Revell from his loan spell at League One side Wigan.
Former Rotherham striker Revell failed to cut the mustard with the Bluebirds following his surprise move to the Welsh capital last January and joined the Latics on loan for three months.
Russell Slade said Revell's loan switch was designed to boost his confidence in front of goal.
Cardiff City confirm they made bid for Dutch striker Wout Weghorst but Bluebirds move unlikely to happen
But the 32-year-old made just a handful of appearances in his time at the DW Stadium, scoring just once, and has now returned to Cardiff ahead of the Christmas fixtures.

would offer more than Mason off the bench. but surely Macheda has to be infront of both. if not he needs to sell him

I think well hope that Slade knows that Revell is not good enough and move him on soon along with Jones.

I am shocked at us recalling Revell, desperation and panicking again

With Mason playing like he is, at least we will have someone to chase down the opposition

This is a bit of a surprise.
Hope this doesn't mean there is an issue with Kenwyne Jones.
He looked out of sorts on Friday and with this now I'm wondering if the contract talks are having a negative effect on his motivation

I can't agree, Revell is hard working and full of running. I think he may work better alongside Watt rather than Kenwynne.
at least worth a shot.

Would rather revell get a chance .. never been keen on jones he just doesn't appeal to a striker i like to watch.
Wish him all the luck but I can't see him getting the money anywhere else !
Revell & Macheda deserve a bash ... revell is hard working and can see him and watt closing shit down !
