Walking along Oystermouth road towards the Swansea jack with about 20 Cardiff in total and easily a few hundred jacks outside their pub and the chant kairdiff going up. Thought we were going to get killed. Luckily they didn't budge because of a couple of dog handlers just strolled past the pub in to the ground and I think it was the game when Leigh Barnard scored for a 1 nil win and he run the length of the field and jumped on to the fences on the west terrace to celebrate with the fans. Miss those days.

A police officer squashing our Mince Pies while getting searched going into Ashton Gate in the early seventies. They were in my uncles coat. I'm sure the officer done it with malice!

most recently that shocking 4-1 defeat in an early kick off at Watford where I was close to leaving before the end for the first time ever. An abject performance especially from Naylor & Blake, after we somehow took the lead with a Whitts goal and Marshall saved an early penalty. Thankfully the fog was so thick by the end we could barely see how bad we were.

My first City away game, and one I will never forget, got to the ground as the game was kicking off, as I stepped onto the terrace, City fans were going nuts celebrating, I missed the goal and got told by one of our fans that Gibbins has scored, I believed he had for over 20 yrs ago until I wrote an article for the Echo and did some research to find out it was Barnard

Still a brilliant Boxing Day :bluescarf:

I think we went to brighton, the old goldstone ground and got slaughtered five or six nil.We passed the team bus on the way home instructed the driver of our bus to pull along side the team bus and we let them know we were not at all happy with their perfomance about 35 years ago,i think ,good old days when we were shit and happy to be in div 2.

Always seemed to be playing Plymouth at one time. Good trips down there and call in Weston on the way home. :ayatollah:
