After all, its only less than a season and a half since the Bluebirds were in the premiership, and what with a billionaire owner, the very substantial parachute payments, and with what is still a high quality squad of players to pick from, is it really unrealistic to expect us to be up there with the front runners ?
And is it really too demanding to expect your team to get a result at a Birmingham City side missing four regulars, and not having won for six matches ?
Also do we now need an outfield player to captain the side ? I've lost count at the number of times that after conceding a goal, our players simply hang their heads and trudge back to the centre circle. Also numerous occasions where certain players go missing whilst taking "rest periods" leaving others to try and make up for them. Surely this would never happen with an outfield captain on the pitch ?

Well, we sold Hudson, caulker, mcnaughton, Taylor, theo, medel, mutch, Kimbo, odemwingie, Campbell, cala, daehli, etc. There's quite a few more. We had to balance the books by getting rid of some of the players who were meant to help take us back, brayford, le fondre, guerra etc.
So yes, expectations are too high as we are actually in the running for the playoffs and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Well done slade. U r doing OK.

As long as we do not go down the majority of us will be happy. It it highly unlikely that is going to happen so my feeling are of contentment at the moment.

I think a little more than 7 games to gel a new squad would have been just fine
