I'll be honest, I'm sure many more know a lot more about football than me, but I enjoyed our performance and thought there was a lot of good football played. Ok the result was disappointing, and a couple of players were off their game but I'm just surprised so many saw it in such a bad light. I think if we continue to play like we did tonight we'll win more than we lose.

We were much the better side in the first half against a very poor Birmingham side on a bad run of form , the non penalty certainly give them a lift and they had something to hold onto ,and only a good save by Marshall stopped it from being 2 nil
Jones' overall lack lustre effort really pissed me off in what should have been a win against such a poor side , our lack of composure in promising positions was simply just not good enough
We are not a top six team when we lose so often (despite tonights non penalty that was given) against sides who are on a poor run of form ...... the table flatters us

I don't know How people say we are playing boring football , we had a lot of chances last night we created
Could of scored 2 or 3 while Birmingham on the other hand ? Minus the pen they struggled to create , our finishing let us down and that's not down the slade
It just wasn't our day but we played well knocked the ball around and used the width well

The worrying thing is that we have performed better than that and still fail to win. All very well putting in a reasonable performance but there has to be some end product.

They had four more shots and we both had 3 on target.

I am constantly amazed that people genuinely think we are playing like a top 6 side.
We are a mid table team - we have been since the start of the season and we will be at the end.
Fortunately we are closer to the top end of the table than the bottom but under the current set up with the current manager we are nothing more than average.
I think that we have the talent within the team to easily be in the top 6 but not under Slade.

Not for me. We lookedvok in patches of game and looked the better team.

The football has definitely improved over the past 5 games, much more entertaining and far greater chances. Slade does deserve some credit here. Tony Watt has gave us much more options and is superb going forward, he needs to be signed permanently pronto!
It's just a pity that we can't seem to be good defensively without sacrificing attack, and vice versa. If Slade could get us doing both then I can definitely see us being around the play offs come April, and I am one of his biggest critics.
