Fabio offered fresher legs on Tuesday night. His willingness and determination to keep going late on was excellent. I’ve said from day one about how happy I am with the full-backs we have at this club.

We can rotate, we can switch one to the other side in an effort to create and keep energy in the side. It leaves the opposition guessing too because they do offer different things.

Malone’s very good going forward, he’s probably our best crosser of the ball going forward from full-back albeit, it was Fabio who got a fantastic cross in for Kenwyne Jones against Brentford.

Blessed with 2 good left backs.

Personally on some occasions I would play Fabio in front of Malone instead of a winger and let him attack :ayatollah:

Fabio is a good player but he was terrible defensively on tuesday. I think Malone is better in that position but like you, I'd like to see how Fabuo would do as a winger.

I agree. Thought fabio was OK defensively on Tuesday. Both are better full backs going forward.
