" DUTCH LEGEND APPOINTED "

Dutch coaching legend Guus Hiddink has been named as Manager/Coach of Chelsea FC less than 12 hours after the removal of Jose Mourinho :o

I think you are right, Steve

Definitely 'something' in the air, although the audits are saying it is temporary and they want Guardiola.

Personally, I believe that is a 'no-no' (he doesn't like the way Chelsea conduct themselves) and Hiddink will stay for next season

Other news coming out of there is that Chelsea have offered no defence for the Dr Eva Canero incident and 'may' be ready to offer her her job back (which she would apparently accept)

Must be something about clubs in blue! ;)

That's very interesting Chris. Maybe Tan has lined up The Special One and that is the reason he hasn't sacked Slade, yet. ;-)
Also Eva would definitely go back there as Jose is no longer there.
You're also right about clubs in blue but I wouldn't have it any other way

Would expect this to be a contract until the end of the season. Would suit all parties as Chelsea have someone to steady the ship, and I don't think Hiddink wants anything long-term.

I doubt Guardiola will go to Chelsea. German press are expecting him to announce next week that he'll leave Bayern at the end of the season and they then expect him to go to Man City.

I can see Abramovich going all out to get Guardiola.

As I said on another thread, I can see a few changes for the top four next season. I think these will be the managers:

Chelsea - Diego Simeone
Man City - Pep Guardiola
Liverpool - Jurgen Klopp
Arsenal - Arsene Wenger
Man Utd - Jose Mourinho

Also worth remembering that Hiddink knows Chelsea well, having been manager before.
