MOURINHO SACKED (Confirmed)
Sky Sports News reporting that Jose Mourinho was been sacked by Chelski at 2pm today
Surprised by that and (despite poor results to date) I can't help feeling Sky themselves have played a major part in that decision with their constant 'pushing' of the subject
All seems very sudden after apparently 'backing' him yesterday, so do they have someone already lined up??

Rumours going around that Juande Ramos will take charge until the end of the season.
Didn't do too well at Spurs.

It can happen to the special one!
Can't happen to RS

It has just been confirmed that the reason he was sacked is because they have someone 'lined up and ready to go before the weekend'
Likely someone 'out of work', so an interesting few hours/days ahead (even for non-Chelsea fans)

Perfect job for Malky!

Ironic that it was ex-Chelsea manager Ranieri who put the final nail in the coffin for him.

Chelsea do have form for this sort of decision like when they sacked De Matteo 6 months after winning the Champions League so even after winning the PL last season not even the "Special One" was going to survive being just above the relegation zone approaching the halfway stage of the season.
Doesn't look good on his CV because after selling both De Bruyne and Lukaku, without giving either any real opportunity, he has probably left Chelsea with a weaker squad than when he arrived.
Anyone fancy him taking over at Man Utd

Finally Ian Dowies gunna get his chance.

It was every bodies fault :Evas, Romans, Players, refs ballboys and even the opposition for having the nerve to score more goals than them. I bet he even moaned at the team coach driver !!
Truth is this season he had completely lost the plot and had become deluded by his own ego. Well done chelski time to move on.

He will still go down as one of the Greatest managers in Football

Annis, he certainly will (go down in history) and he is a true character like him or loathe him
Personally, I think he was great for The Premier League (loved his spats with Wenger

) and will be missed...until ManUre sign him up????
Would I swap him for Russell Slade at the CCS, though?
Hmmmmm, I'd have to think about that...for a nano-second!

I would put money on him being the next Man Utd manager.

To be fair, Mourinho has won more than Wenger ever will. Mourinho had a point, given how Arsenal have done in recent years for the club they are.

Don't forget the physio!!!!!
Your spot on mate, consumed himself in his own ego. You would think someone of his stature and success would realise that he is in control of the outcome, not every other man and his dog.

It was a very classless thing to say though.

Unable to take criticism.Unable to deal with blips in his team's form.Unable to deal with a crisis of his own making.Petulant beyond belief; after the Liverpool defeat he behaved like a nine year old girl who has been stopped going to a One Direction concert by her mother.Classy behaviour and a nurturing of respect by peers , pundits and fans necessitates someone being able to deal with adversity. He is unable to deal with as much and showed the world what he truly is a 100% knob !!!! No doubt he possesses some skills but his "special" abilities were supposedly man management ??? These qualities have disappeared.Trevor Francis called it on BT Sport during the Liverpool game at Stamford Bridge he had "clearly" lost the dressing room.

When I read "one of the biggest names in football" my heart skipped a beat. Thank god Slade is still here.

That's correct Annis, it is massive news and could affect us if Tan wants it to

Swap deal with Slade going to Chelski. This is what Tan was waiting for to sack Slade
