Has Mason played his last game for city

I said at the beginning of the season it would be make or break for him with us this season and with Tony Watt doing what he seemingly can't I just wonder if he'll be loaned out or sold in the next window.

We still need a back up if Watt and Jones get injured although I guess we have strikers coming back from injury

And Saadi must be due back soon as well. As much as i'd have loved Mason to make the grade this year he just hasn't seemed to improve his game since arriving.

I have a funny feeling he may be one of those strikers that can get 20 goals a season year in year out in league 1 but not quite good enough to be a main striker for a decent championship club.

Shame cos i'd really have liked him to go on to become a City legend after that goal against Liverpool but I agree with the OP I think we may have seen the last of Joe in a city shirt.

Loved Joe few seasons back but when he came on against Brentford he offered nothing.Not fast or strong enough I'm sorry to say
