Does Whittingham still have a role to play?

Wed Dec 16, 2015 4:56 pm

Peter Whittingham no longer warrants a place in the starting eleven: he hasn’t for the last three years. It is time to say farewell to a former fan-favourite.

During his 8 year stay at the club, Whittingham has been a constant in the City side after breaking through under David Jones. Granted, the Englishman has served the Bluebirds well, netting 72 goals in his 342 appearances, with countless assists. Sadly, for both team and player, such contributions have been missing from his game for quite some time.

New to the board, but I watched City ardently for the past 6 seasons - Whittinhgam from his peak to how he is now...

Still has a part to play IMHO and many (as usual) are writing him off too easily ;)

Surely he has a role to play! All he needs to do is find a cat that can kill mice and rats. A spell in London could be on the cards!

Whitts Still has a role, he's not going to play many games from the start as Ralls is first choice now but he's not completely finished.
