' NOT GOOD FOR BIRMINGHAM CITY/GOOD NEWS FOR CARDIFF CITY '

Brum on a bad run, not won for 5 games, Cardiff City undefeated in our last 4 games.

Brum have won only 1 of the last 9 games and have failed to score in 6.

In my opinion,We should be looking for at least a draw there or a sneaky win this Friday night, I will go for a 2-2 draw.

Brums record at home recently is not good teams like Charlton and Huddersfield have just beaten them.

City have a a near fully fit/strong squad to pick from :thumbright: :thumbright:

Hmmmmmmmmm

Race into 2 0 lead, Watt and Pilkington only to be pegged back to 2-2 before extra time winner by Morrison seals a win and Ian Holloway can jump onto his coach and race to game 9 :sladeout:

I agree we are frightening in letting our leads slip away, but thankfully with players like Watt and Jones upfront, a strong squad & bench like ours, against midd table or struggling Championship clubs we should be able to at least get a draw and with the right tactics get the wins :ayatollah:

Brum have won only 1 of the last 9 games and have failed to score in 6 of them which says about everything you need to know about where they are at the moment.

If we want to get anywhere this season we need to go there and dominate from the first minute to the last and come home with all 3 points.

But with the tactical genius Slade in charge 1-1.

Come on lads, some positivity, Brum are awful at home and can't score, We have now got the fire power :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Sadly, when we play teams that are, bottom or "on a terrible run" we seem to be the team to end it for them. I wanted a minimum of 5 points from these 3 games, to be fair, I think we will get that or maybe even 7 :bluescarf: I am worried however at what happened again last night, we got of jail which shows character to come back but also shows an inherent weakness not only in our defence but also in our mentality, which is a concern. If we can tighten up at the back I feel we are close to being very competative in theis league and a run of 4/5 wins will change everything dramatically, and we are not too far away from being able to achieve that. :bluescarf:

Annis Birmingham have played a 4-2-3-1 formation in each of their home games this season and as we know we play 4-4-2 in every game so our midfield are going to have a busy night.

Set pieces could be vital on Friday and hopefully our players will have their crossing boots on because in Jones, Morrison, Connolly and Gunnarsonn we have the firepower to hurt them.

Will RS get the team "At it" from the start or will he "Park the bus" and invite them on. I know what I would have my money on so for me a draw will be a good result.

I'm 50/50. As you say we have the fire power but as we've all witnessed of late they panic at 2-0 and invite teams on :? We must kill teams off

Brum will score 2,we will score between 0 and 4.
2-2 probably then.

Yes it gives credibility too the saying "the best form of defense is attack" and when we concentrate on defending we let in a couple.

Remember this is Russell Slade you are talking about.
Brum on a bad run - us apparently on a good run (even though we have thrown 2 games away recently - and very nearly a third)

It all points to a Brum victory for me - hope I am wrong but I feel we have been here before somehow.
