Players Must Take Some of The Blame

I know we won yesterday (excellent entertaining game by the way)

But I don't think it completely fair Slade getting all the stick he does.

Yes throwing away 2 goal leads for 3 home games in a row is ridiculous and tactically he is sometimes naive at best.

However, we have a group off very experienced championship footballers, most with premiership experience and quite a few internationals.

It about time they as a unit started to take more responsibility on the pitch..I am sure Slades half time team talk did not involve sitting back as much as possible..defending deeper and deeper...not marking your opponents and give the ball away as much as possible.

About time some of the experienced players stood up to be counted when the going gets tough??

The thing is everything is ok until the opposing side make changes, but we don't do anything to counteract their changes. Slade just makes like for like changes when somebody is injured or tiring. We usually get outnumbered in midfield so it doesn't matter how many premier league players or internationals you have in your team it becomes ever more difficult to control a game if you are outnumbered in midfield which is usually where a game is won or lost.
