Lets be honest, if that happened under Malky we would all be loving it. At the end of the day, 3 points is 3 points and just imagine how Brentford feel after battling back from 2-0 down to end up going home empty handed.
We shouldn't let could have's, would have's and should have's get in the way of the fact of what actually happened. Yes, Cardiff could have drawn or lost and dropped points but they didn't. The fact remains that the maximum three points were taken from a Brentford side who in the last 2 seasons have proven themselves as a difficult team to beat.
If we got a late winner like that under Malky the fans would be going home talking about how great it was to get the 3 points in injury time. Under Jones we'd have probably lost 3-2 but then again we're not playing Peterborough so you never know.
I still don't think he is the man for the job to take us to the next level but credit must be given where its due and he has got a response out of the team to fight back after dropping a 2-0 lead. Thats something in itself.
