Watt tiring..,..

So I understand the need for him to be subbed but why didn't Slade:
1) bring Ameobi on - he may be useless but at least there's a speed threat there.
2) bring a midfield player on to stop the flood coming through the middle. Kenwynne could then be supported by our two wide men with 3 midfielders sitting in the middle.

This is not a case of shutting the door after the horse has bolted as I (along with others in the Ninian stand) were screaming for either of these changes to be made.

But then Joe Mason comes on who offers absolutely nothing. I defy anyone to defend JM as he is completely useless.

Rant over

Look at it another way....

If he brought on another midfielder and Brentford still equalised, we may not have had enough attacking threat on the pitch to go for the winner. No point looking for negatives, we got the points and the next game will be different. Bloooobirds

Ver rarely do I look for negatives, have loved the last 3 home games and the open attacking football and your right on to the next game but the team is taking shape and now carries a goal threat and Slade has to learn from the 3 home games two up and coasting. Mason carries no goal threat.

if hed brought on a midfielder to help close the game then he still had 2 subs left to change the attack should it be required.
