no well done the players - but watching qpr and brighton was much more exciting, and I'm £110 better off for 2-2!

If Slade doesn't get credit when we win, he shouldn't get slated when we lose or draw.

Sade is doing a good job, if we can just see out games, with the 4 points we dropped from conceeding late goals. We would be 6 points off the top, right in the mix

Every team drops points, if Brighton hadn't conceded so many last minute goals this season they'd be 13 points clear

You are no doubt the biggest idiot on this Forum take your blinkers off Slade hasn't got a ciue and some how god knows how KJ got him out of Jail :ayatollah:

Fair play to him. A get out of jail moment if ever there was one. Just wish he'd go along to these coaching sessions held by Osian Roberts. so he can expand his tactical awareness.

Again a team 2-0 down take off a forward and put an extra man in midfield we get overrun in midfield and concede goals.
Slades reaction take Watt off and replace with Mason. The man is hopeless.
We are lucky to have Kenwyn to pull us out of the pooh
Slade Out sooner rather than later

Abolute luck that we won that game, Slade brings on a deferder when they equalise, he is absolutey clueless Jon how can you derend Slade when it was not down to him that we won :thumbright:

Biggest idiot on this forum? For supporting a manager who's on target to achieve our goals?

Even a tired Tony Watt moves faster than Mason, does Joe have concrete in his boots?

To be fair that defender split the defence open with a super ball for Fabuio to cross but I'm sure that was not Slades intention. He was settling for a point

You've let yourself down there.
No more lucky today than we were unlucky to draw v Burnley.

Still 5 points and unbeaten against 3 sides all in top form.

Credit is due tonight whether it's hard to swallow or not

Another low crowd yes, but I'm afraid it's not his job to persuade glory supporters to attend. It's his job to get results, and he did that tonight.

Re: " WELL DONE SLADE "

Brentford upped their game and brought on 2 subs who added more pace to their passing game on 60 minutes.

Watt was starting to tire but I believe Mason was the wrong choice to replace him. I would have put Ameobi on or if you want to just try and close the game up then Whitts or O'Keefe.
Ameobi would have given us some pace to hit them on the break and if Slade felt he then wanted to put an extra body in midfield with 10 minutes to go to preserve the lead he had the option of replacing Noone or Pilkington and moving Ameobi wide.I think he felt 30 minutes of trying to nulify Brentford instead of pushing for a 3rd was too long and made a like for like change positionally.

Sadly , we conceded from the corner just as Mason came onto the pitch and then had the wrong setup on the field in my opinion.

Saying all this, whilst I have never been convinced by his appointment, you have to give the guy some credit, 10 goals scored in 4 games, just outside play offs, only 4 defeats so far and the football is so much better than last season .

Based on these facts , I don't see him going anywhere in a hurry ! :bluescarf:

Re: " WELL DONE SLADE "

Last 2games have exposed him, both games he should of reacted to change of formation by opponents. Last night was blatantly obvious that we were being over run in midfield, after 60 mins should of replaced pilks or noone with a midfielder, somehow we have to get Manga back in the defence as there is just sheer panic when opponents attack. Slade is the cheap option, he has done well to get us to where we are, but he has to go if we want to get in the shake up for promotion at end of season .

Re: " WELL DONE SLADE "

He must be given chance to buy his own players in Jan and be given decent wedge to do so.

Is is my personal opinion that the only payers that slade has actually 100% bought and wanted are Peteier , Revel and Malone

The rest since his arrival have been I suggest from Tan and Delmett

So let's see what he does in Jan window

Re: " WELL DONE SLADE "

Wed Dec 16, 2015 8:27 am

The players should be praised. Slade's substitution of Watt with Mason was baffling.
Why can't he bring on an extra midfielder when needed....which is mostly in the second half!

Re: " WELL DONE SLADE "

Wed Dec 16, 2015 8:41 am

Got lucky tonight again losing a 2-0 lead and Slade does nothing at all to try and stop it.

Re: " WELL DONE SLADE "

Opposing managers must look at us an laugh - as they know exactly what to do. Concede a couple of goals wait for the second half then attack - Slade is a muppet of the highest order.

Thats exactly what happened.

And taking a winger off for a left back is an example of that. Shutting up shop and putting everyone behind the ball.

Too scared to go for it. Even after the recent examples of when being conservative has not worked.

They were total shit in the first half. We should have scored 4.
