If I remember correctly, we tried appointing Shearer before Malky. He shook hands agreeing to be our new manager, then changed his mind when driving home?

the greatest striker to grace the premiership, if he was allowed to sign for Man U when they wanted him, the league would of been over by xmas, to score the number of goals he did with average teams says it all
