' Who is right Russell Slade or Nathan Blake ? '

Mon Dec 14, 2015 1:43 pm

Nathan Blake says that the team are not fit, because we fade away so badly in the second half of games?

Personally I believe we are tactically beaten by the opposition manager.

Remember over a year ago Slade said that he inherited a squad unfit and he has worked hard to get them to a high fitness level, so if thats true, what is the problem?

We need a football manager not a PE teacher

Nothing wrong with their fitness, all wrong with the tactics

If it's not a fitness issue why were we giving their players so much time by not closing them down quicker?

City were not really shuting down their players all through the game so it is certainly not a fitness problem, actually wednesday were the ones shutting our players down, Slade should drum it into our players not to let the other team have any time on the ball and more importantly, DONT back off players, which they did to concede against wednesday

The squad we have at the moment is good enough to be in the top 3
Unfortunately we have a manager who is totally inept at tactics
Why was Manga and Fabio on the bench on Saturday
They are our two best players
Slade hasn't got a clue how to change tactics during a game and other managers know this also
Slade has to go
We all thought at half time that a 2 goal lead would mean us not losing
None of us thought we would win
This just shows the confidence we all have in Slade
A half decent manager would definitely have us in the top 3
Slade please resign you haven't got a clue :sladeout:

Its tactics i would be surprised if its down to fitness.

It is a case about lack of fitness, we definitely faded in the second half Gunnarson and Ralls were out on their feet. But just as obvious was Slade's lack of tactical know how as we have lost two 2-0 leads and he has ridgely stuck with his 'trusted' 442 formation without reacting to the opposition changing their line up. Top six not with Slade's at the helm.

Whether its a lack of fitness, tactical ineptness, clueless management or all of the aforementioned, the buck begins and stops with Slade.

Both fitness and tactics contributed v. Burnley and Wednesday. Ralls and Gunnars were knackered as they had to mark three players! When is Slade going to actually respond to teams changing their formations?

I think we are fit enough but get beaten by tactics due to our inability to adapt - because of Slade.

Blake has proven once again that he is an apologist for Slade, he put forward his theory of fitness levels before, it was nonsense then and it's nonsense now

Don't look unfit except Watt but we are naive but that's Slade's choice to leave him on.

I think it's tactical naivety pure and simple. Even if the fitness levels were as poor as Blake says its still incriminating. I'm afraid I taje what Blake says with a pinch of salt more often than not.
