Play-offs or not?

It’s becoming something of a cliché to talk of congested play-off pictures, but that is the case again this season.
Cardiff occupied the final play-off spot and were level on points with Wednesday in seventh ahead of the teams’ draw on Saturday. However, Ipswich have overtaken the Bluebirds with a win at MK Dons and the four points Cardiff have let slip at home in the past two weeks look even more costly with a cursory look at the table.
As it is, they are eight points behind Derby in fourth but also only six in front of Preston in 16th and seven ahead of Leeds in 18th.
It brings weight to Slade’s argument that the Christmas period is so important - possibly season-defining - in the race to be in the play-off shake up and you feel Cardiff need a positive result against Brentford to keep pace.

I'll be shocked if we made the playoffs under slade, we have the squad for it but for me slade is tactically inept

Look,there are a number of teams who can make the play offs and City fall into that category.
They need a bit of consistency,a bit of luck,and a decent run at some stage.

Yes if you sort the defense issues out. Winning at home against Burnley and Wednesday by 2-0?, not many teams will achieve that but losing that lead then it's comical.

In my opinion under Slade highly unlikely
