Manchester United will give Ryan Giggs ‘fresh assurances’ that he will become the club’s next manager, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The 42-year-old will reportedly take over from Louis van Gaal, who the Mirror say will be offered a one-year extension to his contract until 2018.
The club reportedly have ‘full faith’ in the Dutchman’s philosophy, despite losing two of their last three games and dropping out of the Champions League.

I think it would be a bit hasty to say he couldn't become a top managier, let's wait till he makes a few appearances on MNF to judge his ability.
Valencia look class since Neville took over, the litmus test for me is if Giggs knows about offside traps, zonal marking etc, and is able to communicate that to a viewing public, time will tell
