Why? He moved from Blackburn of the Championship to Villa of the Premier league, no matter how poor they've been this season Villa are still a massive club, I doubt he regrets it for a second.

If they go down he will be an integral part of their squad as he's a proven Championship goalscorer so I doubt he cares. Villa is certainly an upgrade on Blackburn, championship or not.

I think he 'could' do well up there in a different team; just the same as he 'could' have done well at Cardiff City under different thinking managers to those he had

Rudy is an obvious talent but needs to play in a certain formation to get the best out of him and I'd have him back here, no problem (I didn't want him to go)
