disabled facilities

Sun Dec 13, 2015 11:30 am

My first time sitting somewhere else in the crowd yesterday after previously only being in the canton 104.happened to be sitting directly by the disabled section in the grandstand. What a poor view the fans in wheelchairs get and they are stuck out in the wind and rain. Why arnt they under cover or even in some sort of box or the premier type seating area ?

Denzil.

I think you'll find there are 8 disabled area's in the ground. 4 are at level 1 in the corners (which I believe is where you are referring to), 2 are at level 3 (where the majority seem to sit) and 2 are at level 5 (currently closed).

The disabled spaces at pitch level must be pretty crap in the wind and rain. There are around 40 wheelchair and helper spaces on level 3. Excellent view and very dry in all weathers. In an ideal world the club should put all disabled fans in positions that are high and dry. I will say however that CCS is a thousand times better than NP.

Denzil I sit in that area with my son and 2 grandkids and to be honest I enjoy watching the game at ground level and close to the action maybe the roof could have been extended a bit more but everyone in the ground gets soaked if sat down the front when it rains just happy to watch the bluebirds mate :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:
