' A proper match '

Like It or not today was what many of us have asked for, more exciting and attacking football. Most can't deny that was a decent spectacle, true city should have at least buried one of the many chances created to put the game to bed but we didn't and paid the price against a Wednesday team who grew in confidence once they got the goal.

Wednesday have shown themselves to be no mugs, we have played a more expansive game of late but that comes at a cost. We should have won that today but if am honest it was a fair result. We remain inconsistent but a side that continues to pick up points especially at home. A won in Tues is now very important. All to play for, still in the mix

Maybe we are starting to play Kevin Keegan type football just not perfected yet.

Better than what we had.

Great game, disappointing result but at least we had a go at them. It could have gone either way in the end and it was pleasing to see a Cardiff forward taking on the defence constantly.

A positive thread? We may find it disappearing into the ether very soon :o
I too enjoyed the game, as I did the Burnley draw, and the Hull defeat. As long as I see some endeavour and attacking intent I'm relatively happy. Obviously the result in the end was a bit disappointing, Slade needs to up his game in negating the tactics of the opposition, we live in hope :bluescarf:

Can't argue with that I'm sure everyone would prefer a game like that to a game like the Bristol City 0-0.

However it could have been both entertaing AND a positive result but for better game management which is frustrating as we learned no lesson from the previous home game.

It's about finding the balance and at 2-0 and not getting a third, when Wednesday started to get a foothold we should have gone less expansive, more solid and shut the game down.

Gareth, I have actually stated a few times now, I enjoyed the game on Saturday, exciting and end to end, but I did not enjoy us surrounding a 2 -0 lead once again.

Nice to see we have no problem finding the net. Just need Manga back in the team now to hopefully tighten our defence.
