BERGKAMP RULES OUT SWANS

Sky Sports

12/12/15

Dennis Bergkamp says he does not want to be the next Swansea manager and is committed with his work at Ajax.

The Arsenal legend was linked with taking over from Garry Monk, sacked on December 8, but the 46-year-old insists he is happy to stay in Holland for the foreseeable future.

Bergkamp has been assistant boss at the four-time European champions since 2011 and he told Voetbal International magazine: "I currently have no ambition to become a head coach.

"There's a job to do at Ajax and I see my role here in the next few years."

I'd have thought it would have been a good job for someone like him.
It's a good job for the right manager.

Ican see them messing this up tho and go for someone random.

Not looking good for them. Rodgers, Moyes and now Bergkamp not interested.

Gus Poyet still favourite, but that would be a terrible appointment.

Huw Jenkins has a good track record, so they probably won't.

Quite simply every time they have to change something they are opening themselves up to a potential world of hurt. The Manager is the biggest thing they could change and potentially the biggest world of hurt. They can think about it all they like but the clock is ticking and the new Manager will be under a tremendous amount of pressure to keep them up! I think the odds are in their favour but it's troubled times at the moment for our six fingered friends. Get this wrong and they will miss out on a huge season in the Prem money wise! It couldn't have happened at a better time especially when we win the playoffs! What a day that woul be. :ayatollah: :happy1:
