Great to see a forward player running at defenders and making life uncomfortable for them.

A slight criticism is that he could perhaps put his head up a bit and see who may be in a better position for a pass but it's refreshing to see a striker willing to take on the opposition near their goal.

Needs a better striking partner than Jones in my opinion

Thought he was excellent especially considering Jones did nothing in the first half.

First time I've seen him and he impressed me.

There was one time in the second half where the ball was kicked into the corner and Watt ran straight past Kenwyne to try to get to the ball.

Sums up the attitude of both players I'm afraid - Watt busting a gut to chase the ball down - Kenwyne had already decided that he wasn't going to bother.

Watt is very impressive. He was a right handful today and when on a run was pulling 3-4 Wednesday players into him.

I would love to see a striker of similar playing style play alongside him.

He certainly is - we need to make his loan move permanent. And I honestly think that he really enjoys playing here and actually wants to be a Cardiff player.

How old is he?

He was brilliant today, if he plays like that every week he will be come a fans favourite for sure !!!

I enjoyed today's game some great improvement overall, a disappointing 2nd half, but over all something to be positive about
And we were unlucky to lose!!

The ref was knob, booking our players for every tackle and allowing them to get away with constant fouls to stop our attacks and allow them all to get back behind the ball....

Turn these draws into wins and top 6 is in our grasp.

Watt can certainly make it happen, he seems to have settled in well

Looks a bit of a find :ayatollah:

I am amazed people are questioning Jones today. I thought his hold up play was excellent today and was causing the defenders problems allowing Watt a bit of space.

They combined a number of times (including a fantastic bit of play in the 2nd half) and look like we could actually have a front pair partnership for the first time for years.

First half thought Jones did nothing.
Second half he looked useful.

Didnt see much of a partnership.

That's what makes this game great. I don't remember one thing he did in the first half except.score the goal that was offside.

Watts transfer value is just over £1M and I think that he's worth that in spades at the right club and I get the feeling he wants it here and I'd love to see him here permanently. We bought Saadi for £700K and I like the look of him too - I think the pair of them would be proper handfuls for any defence.

I was thinking about 250k

I like the way you think. But Charlton will want there money back from what they paid Standard Liege I guess and especially if he's performing for us. There was a reason that Charlton wanted him off the wages though and if we can get him at a sensible price, whilst its still early days, from what I've seen I'd really like him here permanently. Also really looking forward to see what Saadi is all about as he looked that he could be useful when he came on a few games back.

If we are going to make the Play Offs then we need to keep Watt, very impressed so far :ayatollah:

Excited to see Watt and Saadi play to together, Watt has really impressed so far, and Saadi looks promising in the brief time I've seen him in action.
