When other managers make changes of formation when there teams are losing in an effort to get back in the game uncle festor does nothing to counter these changes.He only subs like for like.He has no imagination and we are to predictable.
If we get anywhere this season it will be despite of him not because of him.

I don't think it was a bad sub, I think it was a sensible decision. Jones always becomes lazy as the game goes on and even fans were singing Ameobi's name before he came on. That substitution didn't cost us the game, the fact we stopped attacking and dropped deep once we conceded is what cost us once again.

The Pilkington/Fabio sub was an odd one but it was at a time when Wednesday were in total control in the last few minutes, so bringing on an extra defender in those circumstances made sense.

You shouldn't be surprised. The man has no idea what to do in terms of substitutions or changing tactics during the match.

Personally I felt we dropped very deep second half although we did blow a couple of chanxwz early that half. It was massively open for some reason.

Disagree about Jones, felt he was uselesz first half but was dominating second half until he was taken off.


Sub's didn't cost us, our mentality the second half did and if that's down to Slade. Whatever he said or didn't say cost us and his inability to react to situations is mad.

We only play one half. That's Slades way. I haven't seen a game this season where we have played well in both halves. The result of this approach means we will finish half way down the league and half way up it. SLADE is a bit like the grand old duke of York,his team tactics are to march up the hill then to March down again.Tackle and attack one half , stand off and let them score the second,he is a very nice man. I have finally come around to liking him. Thank you Slade . I really hope another club doesn't come in for him, it would ruin my Xmas.

Lets get one thing straight, Slade has watched more games of professional football than anyone of us, so this is not inexperience, this is philosophy. He will not budge from his beliefs and in my opinion as a fan is wrong. He has been a professional football manager 20 years more than i have, but in my business I have had to evolve and things I learnt in college in the 80's are no longer relevant in today's world. I have had to adapt.

His inability to adapt is the reason he needs to be moved upstairs. He is obviously a good administrator and trusted within the senior management but as a tactician in 2016 he is found wanting.

Both home games had the same MO. We somehow got a lead, well done. The opposition heavily gamble and overload the middle pushing their line up by 20 metres. We are now playing with four players out the game. Our 2 wingers and both strikers. Even when they drop they don't have the attributes to compete. The oppositions gamble should lead to a counter attack, but with Watt and Jones out on their feet after 60 mins we can't.

TAKE BOTH STRIKERS OFF & REPLACE WITH ONE STRIKER & MIDFIELDER !!!!!
