City played good,attacking football in the first half and controlled the game and deservedly led 2-0 and continued in to the second half the same way then suddenly relaxed and for 20 mins let Sheff Wed dominate and back in to the game
Dropping another 2pts at home after leading 2-0

City are now 7th.

Cardiff City and Sheff Wed both went in to this game on the same number of points, with City 6th and Wed 7th. With City having a good home record and Wed having not such a good away record, could City prove the doubters wrong today.

When City went forward today,they looked exciting and threatening


19th minute Tony Watt brought down,Craig Noone scored the penalty 1-0 City
34th minute excellent run by Pilkinghton and finished it off with a goal 2 -0

A great first half, it could of been 3 nil, Kenwyne header offside.

We came out and for long periods dominated the game.

By the 60th min we started to relax and bang a long distance shot from Sheff Wed goal 2-1

Slade brought Ameobi on for Kenwyne.

Wednesday started to take more control of the game.

75th min after piling on the pressure Wed scored 2-2

The last 10 mins we were lucky to get a point, it was all Wed.

I did. Had it on my goals goals coupon and a draw in my other bet.

However that's before the game. To be 2 goals up with 30 mins to go you got to shut the game down especially in light of what happened last home game. We didn't learn any lessons.

Well done to Darboy in the match thread. He had us down as being 2-0 up, only to throw it away and end up with a 2-2 draw. Are we really so predictable.

Just play the game!! When you're 2 up, do everything you can to stop a reply and run the clock down. It's not rocket science. Words fail me.

This is why not many of us are convinced that Slade is the right manager, 1 year later and we are lucky to even play 3 of his 15 players he has brought in.

Because he was shagged, can't last beyond 60 mins....

Best we can hope for is a premier club want him as an impact last throw of the dice sub and take him off us.

The problem was that we didn't score a third goal in the 15 minutes after half time. Wednesday were always going to have a right go at us after that, and scored a couple of good goals. Still better than the performances we were turning out 6 weeks ago. Let's leave Slade alone and try to pick the team up for Tuesday

So frustrating today but a entertaining match and its not something weve been able to say much recently

We are incapable of producing a decent level of performance for the full 90+ minutes.

Very good in parts today but can't keep it up all game.

Just like against Burnley we looked in control for most of the game. Just like against Burnley we finished the game on the back foot looking like a completely different team as the opposition gain the belief that they have a chance as we are incapable of closing out the game or finishing them off.

8 goals conceded in the last 4 games and yet I bet that our best centre half and full back will start on the bench on Tuesday.
