' Even Vincent Tan/Dalman & Ken Choo(Ceo) '

' Even Vincent Tan/Dalman & Ken Choo(Ceo) ' have always believed what some on here including myself have always said that the current Cardiff City Squad has always been good enough to challenge for promotion.
We've always had a strong squad and in my opinion a top 2 squad back in August.

I was just looking back at previous media Wales articles and found this below :ayatollah:

Cardiff City will NOT sign any new players during loan window as club chiefs decide current squad is strong enough to challenge for promotion

Russell Slade enjoyed the adulation of the Cardiff crowd at QPRCardiff City manager will not be adding to his squad before the end of next month

Cardiff City will not be bringing in any new players during the loan window senior sources at the club have informed WalesOnline.

There had been speculation manager Russell Slade would look to add to his options with a midfielder and striker both reportedly a target.

But we understand the Bluebirds’ hierarchy in particular now sees the Cardiff squad as complete for the moment and more than capable of excelling in this season’s Championship. There is a belief the quality and depth of squad is now in place to push at the top end of the table without bringing in any more new faces ahead of the closing of the loan window on November 25.

People point out there was no money spent this summer as if Slade is working miracles yet the squad we have cost millions to assemble and David Marshall is probably worth at least 6m alone. He's probably the difference between us being 6th and 12th yet he didn't cost a penny in the summer.

Exactly Polo, I posted on here that Marshall alone must have secured us many points, Slade has been very lucky to have such a quality squad to work with. :ayatollah:

If you looked at it like american football our defensive side is strong but our offence is the weaker aspect of the squad. We're more or less back to full strength other than saadi and with a few tweaks we could be close.
I know I'm stating the obvious but if slade decides to play a little bit more attacking football especially at home and be more dogged away from home then there will not be too many complaints. Looking forward to Saturday come on city. :bluescarf:
