Cardiff City
Cardiff will have to wait on full-back Lee Peltier who picked up an injury to his eye at Bolton last weekend while Fabio Da Silva would be a ready replacement if the former Huddersfield captain does miss out.
Peter Whittingham was left out of the Cardiff starting line-up in the last outing and he is expected to miss out again given it did the trick last time out. Some supporters have called for Bruno Ecuele-Manga to be brought back in with Cardiff conceding four in their last two games but that change is unlikely. Idriss Saadi remains out until the new year but elsewhere Cardiff are in good shape in terms of players fitness.
Tony Watt is expected to start alongside Kenwyne Jones up front after the Charlton loanee scored his first goal last week and Jones helped himself to two assists.

Sheffield Wednesday
Tom Lees will miss out with a hamstring injury picked up against Stoke City two weeks ago and Wednesday will also be without Michael Turner and Vincent Sasso who’s absence continues. Jack Hunt remains a doubt after missing the visit of Derby County last weekend.
Owls captain Glenn Loovens will be a name all too familiar to Cardiff fans with the Dutchman serving tow spells at the Welsh capital. The solid centre-back first joined Cardiff on loan from Feyenoord from 2005/06 before signing permanently and staying at the club from 2006 to 2008 when he signed for Scottish giants Celtic for 2.1 Million.

Surely Manga must start if fit

Ridiculous having a premier League quality defender on the bench. Manga must start, leave it to Slade to decide who must make way for him.

I doubt Mr Ferguson or even Mr Bellamy would leave Manga on the bench .

Need to play Manga before he gets frustrated and leaves in January

We'd have to lose about three on the trot for Slade to pick Manga.

Six goals conceded in the last three games including two to the worst team in the division.
It is a waste of talent and wages to have Manga sat on the bench. Look how long it's taken Slade to drop Whittingham - I've a horrible feeling that we may not see Manga again as I can't see Slade ever selecting him to start before January unless there's an injury to Connolly or Morrisson.
For me it would have to be Manga and Connolly to start.

Manga and connolly for me too. I thin we will see Manga start either Saturday or Tuesday

not saying its right but he may play Connolly at full back and Manga at the back. Fabio on the bench.

Only issue IMO is whether Manga comes in for one of the CB's.
The rest is a simple decision for Slade.

Manga has to play!
Slade may see it as a winning team but we still conceded two goals to the team that's bottom of the league!
Manga alongside Connolly would be one of the best two centre-back pairings in the Championship. Sort it out Slade!

Every block of games approaching the echo publishes an article saying 'these fixtures will define our season' and then a load on here say 'il judge slade after the next 3 games '
