Premier League side to make January bid for Cardiff City midfielder

AFC Bournemouth are ready to submit a concrete bid for Cardiff City winger, Craig Noone, in January, a source close to the player has confirmed to Football League World.

The winger has been subject to interest from other Premier League sides, but Bournemouth will step up their chase for Noone with a formal bid in January.

Noone has been one of Cardiff’s most influential players since his arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2012, and has become a stalwart in the Welsh side’s team.

Bournemouth have been extremely injury stricken this season after losing Christian Atsu and Max Gradel to long term injuries, and Noone has the quality to step in to fill the gaps of the two injured players.

Cardiff have had several key players linked away from South Wales over the past few weeks, and they will need to keep hold of their star men, if they are to make a serious push for promotion to the Premier League this season.

The Bluebirds currently sit in sixth position in the Sky Bet Championship, yet have only won three out of their last ten league fixtures.

Only won 3 in 10 according o the article.

They could also have said only lost 2 in 12

One thing we DO get is lots of bloody draws- makes us a statto's dream

Last 12 games, 5 wins 5 draws 2 defeats.

He has lost his speed, ability to dribble, is a one trick pony and when did he last shoot on target?

I love him to bits but I would prefer Kennedy given a run.

If the right offer is on the table then we should sell him. He's hardly a youngster, and I believe that we could bring in someone with bags more potential with the money we'd get from him.

I wouldn't lose sleep if he went!
Kennedy might get a chance, Fabio can play there & so could Kadeem Harris

Could Declan John also play there ?

I'd also let him go if the right offer came in. Against Burnley in the first half, I thought he played really well but then in the second half he was non existent.

Must be in doubt now after those 2 goals.

Talk about putting yourself in the shop window.

Ive always been a fan of Noone, he is the only player that actually wants to take people on and for that Im a big fan. None of this sideways passer bollux - which we have a lot of, he is a guy that will attempt to take opposition on.
Even in our premier season, he changed so many games once Malky decided to play him.

For me, this is as bad as letting Kenwyn go!

Wouldn't be the end of the world if they want him, good luck to him.

Could maybe get £3m for him!
