STUART GRAY NAMED SENIOR COACH

Fulham have confirmed that former Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray has been named senior coach, but the club is yet to appoint a head coach.

Steve Wigley will work alongside Gray as Fulham prepare to face Brentford on Saturday, and the search to replace Kit Symons continues.

Wow they really have turned it into a farce.

Such a poor appointment but then again it shows there's a lack of quality managers out there.

Modern football and the rush to sack.

Only 6 teams can get in top 6 positions of any division.
Players, boards and fans want success but sometimes we have to bide our time and get on/off field in harmony.
There is no quick fix. (man city spending proves that)

We are too quick to sack. I think Symonds was turning the corner but they've bumped him and got worse.
Crazy bastards IMO

Your right mate and fans are just as bad as the owners imo.

Why?

Stuart Gray is a very experienced coach (as well as his time as manager, assistant manager and interim manager) of a clutch of clubs. When he got the elbow at Sheffield Wednesday a lot of fans were not too upset, but that was because they saw him as a good coach who didn't quite convince them as their manager. I think he's a pretty good appointment for Fulham - as a coach not a manager.
