Who are the surprise package this year?

Mon Dec 07, 2015 9:20 pm

I expected Bristol City and Mk Dons to kick on from last year, and also thought Brighton would struggle! But I do think many thought we would struggle. In fact, looking at our opening six fixtures last Aug/ Sept I honestly couldn't see where our first point would come from! For me, surprise team is QPR. I thought they'd take this division to the cleaners.

I expected Bristol to do better, they have money and can sail right up to the FFP line, coupled with momentum from last season's L1.

Not really many surprises yet! The table is very tight

QPR have been a real surprise. As soon as Brighton lose a game, I can see them dropping off, into the playoffs.

QPR can finish play-offs, only 3 points off us in 6th place.

Chris Ramsey was out of his depth and someone at the club should of known that

there hasnt as yet been any real surprises when you look at the table. always thought QPR would take time to adjust but they are still there or thereabouts.

Bristol City as mentioned, i did think they would be doing better than they are though.

Shit manager and Austin being injured cost QPR early doors. I thought Fulham would be doing a little better than they are and surprised to see Wednesday up there but I expect they will drop hard.

Brighton never thought they would have the season they are having at the moment.

The top 5 are who I thought they would be, and still think they will be at the end of the season.
Relegated I thought Rotherham, Huddersfield and hopefully Bristol

The surprise team must be Brighton, after finishing just 6 points above relegation last season and now unbeaten in 19 games is a fantastic turnaround.
