Bellamy is certainly interesting to listen to.
He's got an opinion on everything.
Personally I'd like to see him prove himself elsewhere and also prove he can put the club before any off field problems in his life before he comes.
However one thing he would do is give a lift to the fanbase- at least until our first defeat

Vincent Tan!

Could it be its all geared up for him to take over next summer?
Isn't Slade out of contract then?

Wouldn't rule it out. Sort of crazy plan you'd get with Tan.
Slade will have done the dirty work of cutting costs by then and maybe the club will be ready to move forward.
Downside is that the budget will be cut by £8-£10m reduction in parachute payments. How would Bellers deal with that ?
Unless of course we go up

Been saying this all season....Not sure what it'll be like but we'll be back in the news again

The latest Bellamy was doing bar this one week MNF gig was that last week he was in Amsterdam for a bit of experience on his coaching badges. Could very well be a possibility come the end of the season

Wether you like him or not he is extremely passionate about football and very, very knowledgable.
His analysis on Lukaka was spot on and he's called exactly how Palace would combat him ie defend deep and give him no space in behind.
Mon Dec 07, 2015 8:44 pm
He'd be popular with the fanbase, he knows his stuff, he's passionate and best of all - he hasn't rushed into management.
When, and not if, Slade goes then I think Bellers would be a good replacement.
People will say he has no experience but neither did Eddie Howe or Roberto Martinez and look what's happened there? Don't forget Bellers has done some coaching since retiring - like those two.

No managerial experience whatsoever, I would like to see him as a coach here first. We don't like Slade for many reasons, one being his lack of experience at this level. Bellamy would be worse in that regard.
It's a no for me but he's done an excellent job tonight in red Nevs place.

He's studied in different countries to gain knowledge of the game, no experience but knowledgeable could be a success if given chance!

Would have to make sure all the golf clubs were securely locked away at Hensol Golf Club!

How about a Slade/Bellamy double act. Slade does the purse strings/admin. stuff (sort of Football Director role) whilst Bellamy just concentrates on coaching/motivation.
Don't know, could it work?

That would be my choice.
Slade personality no good as a front facing manager and tactical reaction is slow however parts of him have won me over and I think he would be a stable factor at Cardiff

The plus side of Bellamy coming would that his number two would most likely be Speedo's ex number two Raymond, who knows alot about the game and is very experienced and passionate (thumbsup)

Not a good thing at all. He's incredibly outspoken for someone with minimal coaching badges to his name. Used Speedo's death as a ploy to try to get the job.

Hate to say it but Slade will be here until end of the current season for sure, possible beyond if we make play-offs.
If Bellers gets the job it would be in the summer.

I think everyone knows that. No reason for Slade to depart the club, it'll be unlikely that we'll be relegated this season and at worst, we'll finish mid-table.

Bellamy is probably the only man who could maybe bridge the gap between Tans Delusions and the Fans Realsims.
Based on that notion I will say it's never gonna happen as Tan loves his delusions.

I think id rather him get some experience at a lower level with hasslebank did then step up. Or spend some time on our first team coaching staff.

I'll stick with my preference of getting him in to do some first team coaching and also give the youth some time too.
We'd all like to see him here, but let him prove himself first - here or otherwise. A months to a year later moving him to the first team manager role could be considered.
That said, I'm quite happy with slade.
Turning a club around takes more than a year.

If that is not saying that he has been in talks to come to City in some capacity (manager) or coach, then nothing is

Well done Craig for having the balls to say it
Not so much as a gamble as Fester as Bellers has played the game himself at the highest level
Kellers would get bums on seats again
Fester has just played on Fifa

God help us if does get the job..... A gobby OGS

He could practice management down the road at Swansea if he wants! I'm fairly sure a vacancy will be opening up there soon.
