Watch out for this young Bluebird

There is a young lad of 17 that has been promoted from under18 to development team and trains with the first team his name is Jamie Bird . Being from Cwmbran myself I have had the privaliage to meet Jamie and his father Mark and what great down to earth people they are . His mother and father have supported him in every way since he joined Cardiff which I believe was at the age of 15.He went on loan to Barry earlier this year and played three games each time man of the match.He is an attacking midfield player with great skill, But more to me is lhat he is a level headed young man who works very hard and his parents must be very proud. He has , as yet not got a pro conract which does concern me I have also heard through contacts that he is being closely monitored on his current position at Cardiff by other clubs . I realy hope that we can secure his services and not let another future prospect slip througy the net .

Jamie has been with Cardiff since he was 7 years old and was given an early scholarship at the age of 15! He's just what we need at the moment, a powerful player that has an eye for the goal, very much like Ross Barkley! But no, no relation to Ronnie!
