Home form pretty good at the moment, and with football boffins saying that a top 6 position by the new year is the key to pushing on, then we have a great opportunity to build on something ( and maybe force Tans hand in releasing the purse strings in Jan).
Heart says 14 points from 18 with wins against Brentford, MK Dons, Forest and Blackburn; draws against Wednesday and Birmingham. My head thinks that 11 points would be a great haul and keep us in the top 6.
In fact, how many of you think the Last game at home to Birmingham will be a winner takes all event??

I think unless we sign a winger that Slade will play instead of noone (because he obviously doesn't rate kennedy) and a striker (hopefully watt) then we will fade off to about 8th.
But if we can pull off a couple of decent coups we could be fighting for it down to the wire definitely.

always an important time of year.
if youre looking at 6 games as a block, then 10 points will keep us in and around the top 6. anything more than 10 would be great going into the new year

Wouldn't 14 from 18 be great

I think you make a fair point that, although Tan seems hell bent on austerity, a good Christmas and New Year period by the team might force him to think differently.
