Gunner

Sun Dec 06, 2015 4:09 pm

Have posted before that when he gets his shirt back he will be hard to remove, he did it the promotion season and after an expected few rusty performances he's at it again yet this time with the energetic joe ralls, we know what he's all about and he's commited to our club and is just what you need come the dark months. Nice guy as well and so passionate for his country and City.

He's doing a good job.
Seems better going forward than KD, certainly much more mobile but I think KD gives us a better defensive shape and is a better passer.

Good to have options

fair play to Gunner. had a bit of a slating when next to Whitts as was carrying him to. now hes next to quality we see the real him. Gunner and Ralls have to stay there if we play 442 which is a cert
Gunner reminds of when we had Riccy Scimeca next to Macphail. a real work horse

Always rate Gunnarsson and have always sang his praises on here. Such an important player physical and vocal :ayatollah:

Hes a warrior in centre midfield and can go box to box and chip in with goals too, ideal for slades 442, him and ralls seem to compliment eachother and i hope slade keeps this pairing now

Seems to come into his own from his time of year. This is when we really kicked on during the promotion year. I hope Slade doesn't break their hearts by expecting them to cover the whole midfield. I could see logic in the lopsided effort as you don't play one of the Fancy Dans who may not turn up.

I can just see another Ole situation of Gunnar and Ralls instead of Whitts being over run even though Ralls is an out and out CM.

I am a believer of pass, pass, pass key pass, but the power game that Ralls and Gunnar gives us something that can be rode for a while yet.

Still see them as a 433 Whitts home Dikgachoi away with Watt Jones and Saadi
