Tough 3 points today against a very physical team who had only lost one of their home games all season.

Although Bolton asked questions of the city defence a team who is scrapping for every point and has a decent squad cardiff managed to meet fire with fire. undoubtedly since gunnars came back on the team there is a lot more energy in midfield and he had an immense game turning defence into attack.

All three goals were from open play and cardiff could have or should have had more. tony watt is making good runs and giving the cardiff midfield a pass option.

The bench looked strong also with manga fabio Whittingham etc

Never easy to win away from home but another good positive attacking performance from the blue army

Attacking wise we were very good today long may it continue leaving Whitts out made a huge difference.

I am a big fan of Whitts, but he does not fit into 4-4-2. If we were ever to play five in midfield, he'd be perfect. Nobody else can find a willing runner like Watt with a telling pass. I truly think Watt could play on in his up front in tougher fixtures....Not that Slade will ever do that.
