Re: Ledley to Stoke. by Stoke city fan

Some fresh news tonight on the reason why we will sign him on Thursday morning.Nothing to do with Ledley and loyalty bonuses.Stoke have tried very hard to come to a agreement on a fee with CCFC.Player plus cash deals have been offered, but been rejected by CCFC.Hence we now have to wait until his contract expires.Unless they sort it tomorrow it's going to a tribunal.

It's just been confirmed on The Oatcake that Ledley's medical is booked in for tomorrow, some thought the medical had already taken place but it had not.He has accecpted a 4 year contract, looks like a tribunal i'm afraid to say though.Anything could happen at a tribunal, depends on who puts the better case forward.Would imagine both CCFC and SCFC will make this offical sometime tomorrow,Friday morning depending on how quick and succesful the medical is.

"Oh, we offered 6m, but really think it should be 500k".

Convincing argument there...
