' Morrison & Macheda On Bolton '

Vital Football

Saturday 5th December 2015

Centre half Sean Morrison and fit again striker Kiko Macheda have both been interviewed ahead of this weekend's game against Bolton Wanderers.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game in his own mini pre game press conference, the defender admitted that the capitulation against Burnley in our last game - despite having a two goal lead - had frustrated everyone since during the week in training and they were all determined to put that right this weekend.

'When you look at the fixtures in the league, every game you come to, there`s not an easy match. Bolton are bottom of the league at the minute. They`re struggling a little bit on and off the field, so people might think that`s an advantage for us, but they`ve got a good quality squad there - I actually know a lot of the lads who play there - and a good manager too. We just need to make sure we`re on our A-game and if we play like we did for eighty minutes on Saturday then I`m sure we`ll come away with three points.'

As for Macheda, making his first appearance of the season against Burnley following a lengthy injury lay off, he said he was pleased to be back obviously but he was also looking for a much better result in this weekend's game.

'We were disappointed after Burnley as with five minutes to go we were 2-0 up and should have won the game easily. We were the better side and to only take a draw from it was really disappointing. We want to go to Bolton to make sure we get the three points. After the disappointment last Saturday, we have to go there hungry to come back with a win. Personally, I`m feeling good. I had my operation around twelve weeks ago now and finally I`m through it and feeling great. I`m looking forward to getting even fitter and contributing to the team. I had a run-out with the Development team ahead of getting out in front of the fans for a few minutes against Burnley. It`s always a great feeling getting back after injury - I was very pleased with that.'

Macheda is back and he might be a blessing up front he gets one today be good.
I don't believe we've seen the best of him yet his performances haven't been the best .
He has it in his locker to score goals hope he does it for us
