" THEY SAY ONE GAME AT A TIME "

I know it is often said take one game at a time but I can't help looking at runs of fixtures and to see what results we can hope or expect to pick up.

Today we play Bolton away, who are bottom of the table, with just one win out if the eighteen they have played, i may upset a few but I expect to win at the Macron this afternoon.

With Ipswich losing at home to Boro last night gives us an opportunity to climb at least one place with a win later today.

Looking ahead we play at home to Sheffield Wednesday next Saturday and by no means will that be an easy game but we are at home and let's be honest if anyone has any belief that we can achieve a play off position then beating teams such as the Owls at home is surely a must.

Another team who are just two points ahead of us are Birmingham, in 6th place at the moment, we go to the midlands in two weeks and I am hoping we are going there on the back of two wins, if that is the case then a draw would be welcome on Black Friday.

I am not posting this from any form of optimism but I do feel if we can take 7 points between now and Christmas then we will be in an excellent position to take on the play offs.

All winnable games in my opinion, but have to agree at least 7 points would be a fair target.

Would be gutted if we did not come away with three points today. Fed up of feeding points to clubs who have been on long losing streaks.

Preston, Rotherham and Leeds away and Wurzels home were all winnable games on paper yet they only yielded one point and one goal.

I have no faith in Slade putting the lower positioned teams to the sword.
