Kiko..

Fri Dec 04, 2015 12:39 pm

The Italian, who made his first appearance of the season against Burnley having recovered from a long-term injury, spoke of his hopes ahead of the trip to Macron Stadium – as well as his own hopes for the second half of 2015/16.

“We were disappointed after Burnley as with five minutes to go we were 2-0 up and should have won the game easily,” said Kiko. “We were the better side and to only take a draw from it was really disappointing.

“We want to go to Bolton to make sure we get the three points. After the disappointment last Saturday, we have to go there hungry to come back with a win.

“Personally, I’m feeling good. I had my operation around twelve weeks ago now and finally I’m through it and feeling great. I’m looking forward to getting even fitter and contributing to the team.

“I had a run-out with the Development team ahead of getting out in front of the fans for a few minutes against Burnley. It’s always a great feeling getting back after injury – I was very pleased with that.

Kiko could be a fantastic championship striker if he just applies himself with some consistency.

Definitley good enough but like you say a bit too inconsistent. Needs to show his talent on a more regular basis. Not the most fortunate with injuries either.

He is simply Macheda until he earns the right to have a friendly name.

He's simply Kiko as I can describe the player in 4 letters. Thanks for your input though.

He is in my opinion the most natural striker a the club. :thumbright: :ayatollah:

A very frustrating player in my view, very lazy at times, with a non existent touch?
Skilful at other times & definitely an eye for goal, he is also very unlikely to win any flick ons as he tends to duck when it's aimed at himn ;)
