Fabio Da Silva returned to training early this week and could well be in line for a return even if it is from the bench. Frederico Macheda made an appearance from the bench in Cardiff’s clash with Burnley and he should now be fully fit to start if needed.

Anthony Pilkington and Sammy Ameobi should now be available after short spells out.

Tony Watt and Kenwyne Jones are likely to be the front two for a second successive game at Bolton. Aron Gunnarsson was replaced last time out due to a tight hamstring but should be fit enough to start. Bruno Manga is now fully fit but Idriss Saadi is out until the new year.
