If I was Manga, i'd want to leave since his manager doesn't rate him enough to put him in the team ahead of Morrison.

Without checking, I thought he had been bench warming before his latest injury setback. Got fit enough to be on the bench I believe from the pre-season injury. Anyone know where he got he most recent injury?

his most recent injury was on international duty i think. before that he came on during a game and got caught out for a goal (cant remember who it was against)

Personally i expect him to start either saturday or the week after.

He has to play, different class on the ball which should allow the midfield to play higher up the pitch as this guy ain't a hoof & hope merchant. Injured playing International football but not Championship, c'mon Slade :o :bluebird:

Wasn't the CB partnership Manga and Morrison so surely you mean Connolly? Connolly is a liability

We can see from the responses to this post that we all have different views on our best centre back pairing.

I think Manga will stay unless we are offered amazing money for him.

My personal chice is Connelly and Manga. Although Manga can be and has been at fault for many goals we have let in, his play on the ball is fantastic tho.

Probably the only Premier League player we have and we are about to loose him? Just about sums us up!

In defence of Morrison, he has struck up a good partnership with Connolly. He is not a hoofball merchant like Turner, though Manga is definitely a better footballer. As long as we don't leak goals Slade is right to keep the centrebacks together, even if Manga is one of our better players. I think he could leave in January though, as Tan joins the New Year Sales.

The Negativity towards our club from so called fans getting a bit tedious, we all have our opinions moans and groans but I read some posts and they almost take pleasure in having a pop, when nothing has actually happened.

Manga is class, he's been unfortunate to get injuired and like it or not our centre back pairing have been decent. Connoly was superb on Saturday, certainly wasn't hoofball brilliant distribution and read Burnley perfectly. Didn't Morrison score? Oh yes the other CB.

Manga will get his chance and while slade had his critics including me, there hasn't been a massive case to change the cb partnership like other positions on the pitch.

Manga is on big wages so im guessing he's on the bench for a reason imo and wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave either we all know the cost cutting is going on and will continue as theres always ways to get players to leave altho9ugh we have a few out of contract come may and no doubt will sell a few. It will give us the signings out on loan back then probably playing weekly for us and why there out on loan to other clubs now. :bluescarf:

What wage is Manga on?

I'm genuinely interested in your inside knowledge.

There seem to be a large number of posters on here who are right ITK on details of players contracts. Unfortunately for the rest of us a lot of the reporting of confidential contractual information is contradictory - as with Kenwyne where people quoted figures with 100% confidence that were more than £20k pw week apart.

so what your saying is keep manga on the bench? So we lose probably the best defender in the championship so we can play the players in form? And we have been lucky we have had a quality keeper in goals.

Re: "TOULOUSE EYEING BRUNO MANGA"

As one of the few players who has a decent transfer value and one who is "probably" on a decent wage ( I'm certainly not ITK but most of Ole's signings would appear to have been on good money), i can see Emperor Tan tout him around during the window to get some money in and some wages cut.

I personally think that Manga and Connolly should be first choice but not to select Manga when he is fit and available is absolutely ridiculous - typical Slade unfortunately.

Bruno didn't come here for his love of Clarkes pies, he came here to be "discovered" by a premier league club.

A year later after picking up the language and culture after a good start that has been blighted by injury returning to a small ligue 1 club could be described as a failure.

Cant see him going unless its up. A good second half of the season and he'll get his big bucks move to the money rich premier league.

He has been injured !!!!!!! No evidence that Slade wouldn't pick him if match fit.

I think we have 3 class centre backs that would get in any side in the championship manga just got to wait for his chance.

He's not been injured all the time this season!

Four goals conceded in the last two games gives Slade the opportunity to get Manga back in the team on Saturday.

Do you think he'll do it?

Of course he won't.

Re: "TOULOUSE EYEING BRUNO MANGA"

You must find a place for your best players.
He was kept on the bench for quite a few games before he got injured but now he's fit he must be intergrated back into the starting eleven simple as that.
Saying that, I don't expect Slade to play him Saturday.
If a decent bid comes in - he'll be gone.
