Cardiff have been given the boost of Fabio returning to training this week with it likely the Brazilian will be back in the first-team picture imminently.
In fact the former Man United defender could quite conceivably, if not probably, return against Bolton on Saturday when the Bluebirds travel to the Macron Stadium for the Championship meeting with the troubled Trotters!
He's told the BBC he's confident he'll be available to Russell Slade and 'can't wait' to be involved again.
'I can't wait to be back, actually. I really want to help.
'I trained this morning and I think I will be available. I don't know if I will start or play for long, but to be available will be good.'
Fabio has been left 'frustrated' by this spell on the sidelines, due to a foot injury sustained against Ipswich at the end of October, which arguably came at a time when he was showing his best form, on a consistent basis, since his arrival at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Being in form, and a regular, at that point made it even more of a disappointment for him but now back, and back 'quicker' than anticipated the 25-year-old added.
'It was very frustrating. I was playing good and playing every game. But I am recovered now and want to be back on the pitch.
'The boys and the staff have helped me a lot. I have worked hard to get back as quickly as possible and I think it is quicker than everyone had thought.'
Despite allowing all of the goalscoring (lack of) problems and a two-goal lead, with only five-minutes to play, slip against Burnley on Saturday in the two-all draw Cardiff are still only two-points off the play-off places.
He finished by saying he's 'confident with this team we can make the play-offs,' which is the aim for the Bluebirds

Great news.
The squad is getting stronger now.
I'd expect Pilkington to be fit for Sat too.
Any news on KD and Gunnar.
6 games in December, squad strength will be key.
