' TOMMY O'SULLIVAN '
Tommy O'Sullivan is certainly making an impression at Newport County where he is on loan from Cardiff City.
The young Welsh U21 centre midfielder has been rested recently due to his involvement in two international fixtures but yesterday came off the bench just before the hour mark to turn the game in Newports favour against Luton.
Obviously Swansea's on loan striker Oliver McBurnie is receiving all the credit for scoring a hat trick on his debut after coming on the pitch at the same time as O'Sullivan but it was the young Welsh midfielder who was instrumental in opening up Luton and creating chances for McBurnie.
Newport's coaches and fans are really impressed with O'Sullivan and want to keep him beyond his current loan spell which runs out in January but should Russell Slade deny County and bring back O'Sullivan in the New Year ?

When we didn't have a Saturday game the other week, me & my boy went to watch brizzle rvers v Newport. O' Sullivan was v good and scored a beauty. He reminds me of Ralls in way he plays. Classy.
Oh aye, this game was most enjoyable one I have been to all season!! Lots of goals, Incidents, end to end. Shame it wasn't City.

No give him to county for the season, let him toughen up and fight for a shirt next year....Great position to be in next season.

Gone on loan at the right time. Let Newport have him for the season. How long is left on his contract?

Our own coaches praise him, the Newport County coaches say he is the best player they have and well above their division,The Welsh coaches praise him, voted young player of the year. I say he should be given a chance on the subs bench, I still can not believe we have 15 players out on loan and some good enough for us

f**k the county.they hate us.get him back

I thought he was one of the few that looked good against Macclesfield a couple of seasons ago in the cup game.

For Tommy to come back Dikgachoi or Gunnar need to be sold.
O'keefe won't cost a fortune to move on but whitts is past his sell by date in terms of salary expectations.
Hope he is not Ralls replacement

I'm fez up of hearing about o'sullivan. The ones who say we should play him are the ones who won't give slade a chance. If o'sullivans inexperience cost us a game you'd blame slade for us losing.
U won't give him time so he isn't going to experiment is he.

Tommy unfortunately won't be with us next season Carl

Not desperate for midfielders, keep him out on loan nothing better than first team experience and let him make a claim for a spot next year. If he can nail it then him and Ralls could be the future and from our own much criticised set up

Could do a lot worse than play Ralls and O'Sullivan in centre midfield!

Got to keep him out on loan its gd for his development this is what we need

Is that a statement or an opinion?
Personally, I think that he has a lot to offer this club and we would be silly to lose such a talent

I seem to remember someone saying on here that Tommy doesn't want to stay next season.
We'll see, if he thinks he can do better than a mid table championship club, then it would be madness to stay, or for us not to have offered him an improved contract.
What i find strange is his inability or county's game plan not to play for 90 mins..
