Did anyone else know that the name Gunnarsson means the son of Gunnar.
Like the last name in Britain Morrison, is, son of Morris centuries ago.
So our centre back, back in day of vikings and the rest of it would be - Sean, son of Morris.
Aaron, son of Gunnar.
And a duaghter of Gunnar would be Gunnarsdóttir
Some of probably know but I had no idea. You can tell our ancestors were invading Vikings!. Johnson Morrison etc etc
