Russell Slade's reaction after today's game.
"It was really hard to take, we’ve got a disappointed dressing room there,” said Slade.
“We were very good for large periods, they had a couple of periods, but other than that we were the better side, but the better side did not win.
“We should have defended their first goal better, David Marshall is disappointed he did not save it too. The second-goal was bizarre, it was going a mile wide and it’s hit Matt Connolly and gone in, it’s a crazy equaliser. It was not even going in.
“You saw how hard it was by the body language of my players when the equaliser went in because we had worked so hard to get top-side of a very good side. We thoroughly deserved to be in front so it is very hard to take.
"We will have to react in the next game. That’s all we can do, that’s all we can control. We can’t do anything about this, we just have to move forward There’s such a fine line sometimes. You have to keep going for 94 minutes not 90 though.”

What we can do is sack the prick and get someone decent in.
Heard someone around me today mention Brendan Rodgers, apart from the Swansea links a very good shout

He was hired for a renowned attacking flair with orient, comes to a bigger club and is shit scared of losing and plays at home how we should away. It's simple. He was never going to turn us down- why would he. But seriously out of his depth, a tan yes man and there's
The problem. We won't have a proper "manager" who manages the club with his own ethos until the dictator leaves. End of.

Can't blame Marshall and can't blame the unfortunate Connolly (my Man of the Match

) as that late substitution came from
YOU, sir!

Even harder to take when you pay to watch it week in week out and not paid to watch it.
Yes better today but got to look at the big picture, he is driving fans nuts that bother to go and keeping those that dont away.

I wish Tan would react!

Lol blaming slade when we only drew due to a flukey own goal. Nothing to do with us not seeing out the game. It was pure jammy.

Yeah but that opportunity for Burnley probably wouldn't have happened if Slade had any tactical nous to defend a two goal lead. He didn't react to Burnley's change of tactics and only did like for like substitutions. If we had gone to a more defensive 4-5-1 formation (and brought Manga on) we would have had a much better chance of protecting the lead. It might have been a flukey own goal, but you also make your own luck too.

Unlucky today , got the better of a top side, yet still the manager gets no credit
It's getting embarrassing now .

NO! It was poor management of substitutes, as City should not have been in that position!

We did'nt get the better of them, we drew at home. The only stat that counts is the two home points that we dropped.

To be honest I wasn't expecting too many reasoned answers.

I'm no fan of Slade, but what else could he say. I think between 10th to possibly 8th is the best we can expect to end up with him in charge, and I think he will feel he's done a good job. Hopefully someone else with be put in place next season to push us on.
