I like Whitts and think he is often hard done by, but it's hard to argue that the one time Whitts was out the team (with Ralls in the middle) City looked a lot more balanced and capable ;)

I'm a Whitts fan and believe he has a lot to offer still, but that's not in a 4-4-2 formation. If Whitts plays it must be in a 5, if it's 4-4-2 then he should be on the bench with Kennedy on the wing and Ralls in the middle.

I would like to see our midfield set up as

------- o'keefe - Dikgachoi

Pilkington -- Ralls -- Kennedy

Give o'keefe a chance, he did well back end of last season and if he doesn't do very well bring in Gunnarson.

Either Whits or Ralls not both, He needs to play one of them in the middle and then replace one with a left winger, No wonder our strikers are not getting any service, A 442 with 3 cm's playing. The guy is a baboon. :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:

Even with 5 I haven't got Whitts in there, but Whitts can't play in the middle 4-4-2

I feel exactly the same. Ralls has looked outstanding in the middle every time I've seen him play there and in afraid is 442 does not suit whitts especially in his latter years
