Agree with everything you say.

Often when a team loses a game or two a manager will try to freshen things up by changing a few players. Not Slade though - as he thinks we are playing Barcelona every week he seems to stick to the same side with changes only being made because of injury or suspension.

Looks like Manga will have to wait for an injury or suspension to Morrison or Connolly before getting a chance which is a disgrace - he should be the first name on the team sheet when fit.

Would fully understand if he has told his agent to start looking for a club in January where he'll get some games - wasted here sitting on the bench.

Whittingham is one of our best players don't get all the people bashing him he does so much work on the pitch some of the passes he makes are sublime but people get on his back for the odd mistake he makes,after Marshall Whittingham would always be the first name I would put on the teamsheet

You're just like Russell Slade then although I think Whittingham is always the first name on Slade's teamsheet, ahead even of Marshall!

Whittingham's record of assists is massively helped by the fact that until recently he has taken EVERY corner and free kick. As we can only seem to score from set pieces it is inevitable that Whitts will have a high number of assists. If Joe Ralls continues to take some of the set pieces then Whitts's assist statistics will soon begin to drop.

I wouldn't have him on the teamsheet at all. At fault for the equalizing goal yesterday. Anyone could have the same number of "assists" he's had if they were taking corners each and every week.

And by the way watch burnleys equaliser again and watch whitts without the rose tinted spectacles do f..k all to close the ball down

Connolly has been our best outfielder by some distance. Fabio has looked defensively poor in certain games, like Brizzle. Manga is class, but even he seemed to make one awful mistake per game, usually near the end.
