Just shows that to have a realistic chance of promotion you have to spend a few bob and have a decent manager.

We are spending f**k all and have a lower league manager.

I fully appreciate the level of debt that we have and the need to cut that down but let's accept that realistically with the present set up we have absolutely no chance of promotion.

It is not difficult therefore to see why non devoted fans are leaving in their droves.

Entertaining first half.

These are two of the top three in the Championship and watching them proves we are such a long way off.

Derby aren't playing fantastic, but as has been said very clinical. You can say the same about Hull, we were better when we played them but they took their chances.

Full time 2.0 Derby.

Gone top now, after an awful start to the season.

Big result for them tonight, sure to be in the mix at the end of the season.

Already seems to be a bit of a gap from Derby, Hull, Brighton, Middlesbrough and Burnley from the next pack.

Would expect one or two to fall out soon, but very likely two of those five will get the top two slots. My money would be on Derby and Brighton.

It's the way we lost. No heart, no fight etc.

It wasn't about losing it was the way we lost, it could of been 6 nil to Derby, if it was not thanks to Marshall

Don't forget our awful away defeats to Rotherham and Leeds etc

Hopefully our fairly good home run continues today :ayatollah:

Plenty of heart and fight.

However not on the same planet in ability and tactics.

Couldn't get the ball off them and couldn't handle their quick closing down.

They/ we made thebpitch big for them as they used the whole width and we defended too deep .

We then made it small for our selves by playing too narrow and they made it small for us by pressing up high.

Derby could have had 6 last night without McGregor.

I'm not hiding the fact we were poor last week, but it does need to be put into context.
They are a good side.

Marshall does save us often, but it's his job, it's the one position we have the best in the league in.
However if we didn't have him we'd still have Moore, plus the money and budget to have 2 further decent outfield players.
