Letting Tony Watt join Cardiff was an 'easy' decision
26/11/15
Meanwhile, Tony Watt’s Charlton manager has explained why he let the striker join Cardiff.
When asked why the club agreed to allow the former Celtic star to join the Bluebirds, Fraeye told NewsShopper:
It’s very easy. When I came in Tony played, he then picked up an injury and since then we won two games in a row. “It’s clear that Tony needs games and needs to play. Cardiff came in and we allowed him to get his games there.”

That's assuming Slade actually plays him, unlike most of the other players he's signed.

I bet Malky thought that loaning Rudy out was an easy decision.

So Watt is not good enough for Charlton at this very moment in time, but good enough for Cardiff City

That's the backwards way of looking at it... Watt got injured and they've been playing better since he's not been in the side so why change a winning team? It's equivalent to us if we loaned off Whittingham when we've been playing better without him whilst he was banned, although it's more obvious for Watt as he's only 21 and needs game time.

I dont know why some people think we are so much better than charlton that we shouldnt be considering any players that cant get in their side. Wolves didnt think that with Le fondre. Sometime it just doesnt work out for players at some clubs.
Yes it shows less intent than we have been fortunate to be used to in the past few years, but that intent and mindless spending has got us in the mess we are in now.
I cant get over how fickle some people are. Make your mind up!! At least we are going for young players with a bit of quality and have something to prove and within our budget.

He's with us for how many games is it about 6 ? So surely he has to play against Burnley and if he does well all the remaining games.
Otherwise what's the point in having him on loan.
But knowing Russel he will play the same team as against Derby .With Mason playing even though is confidence is gone.
I wouldn't even have Mason on the bench at the moment I'd have Macheda.
This is slightly off topic , Slade has said you have to earn your place in the side. So when we beat Reading surely Ralls should have kept his place and Whittingham should fight to get back in the side ? He said that's the reason he wouldn't pick Manga, earlier in the season. Our Mr Slade is very contradictory.
